Introduction

Ineffective oral function, loss of structural balance, poor aesthetics, and psychological repercussions are all consequences of replacing lost teeth or teeth brought on by dental caries, chronic periodontitis, trauma, or anodontia. For these individuals to regain their natural shape, function, comfort, appearance, speech, and general health, restoration is necessary. For millennia, a variety of natural or artificial alternatives have been used to replace lost teeth. Traditional rehabilitation techniques, such as resin-bonded restorations, fixed partial dentures, and removable partial dentures, have certain disadvantages. For example, patients and dentists are reluctant to give up healthy tooth tissue to make room for fixed partial dentures, and resin-bonded restorations have variable survival rates. The newest therapeutic option for people who are partially or totally edentulous is dental implants.

Dental implants have been used for thousands of years; the ancient Chinese, for example, implanted tiny bamboo rods into their jawbones 4,000 years ago to replace missing teeth. The Incas replaced lost teeth with fragments of seashell, whereas the Egyptians utilized ferrous and precious metals. Inserting an endosteal implant in the ideal position and angulation for use as a prosthetic abutment is the aim of implant surgery.

The quantity of implant systems with a broad range of prices has caused the market for implant dentistry to grow tremendously. A small number of older implant systems have been clinically successful, but more current and cost-effective implant systems are still being monitored. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical success rate of the novel and affordable Hi-Tec implant system. The study's findings will help clinicians choose the right implants in this cutthroat industry.
